About Margaret
Worsley Learning Design was created to support educators and institutions in designing more accessible, inclusive, and effective learning experiences.
Margaret Worsley is a college professor, instructional designer, and doctoral researcher specializing in accessible online learning and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Her work focuses on helping faculty design courses that support the diverse needs of today’s students, particularly in community college environments where learners bring a wide range of experiences, backgrounds, and learning needs to the classroom.
At Riverside City College in Southern California, Margaret teaches music and works extensively in online and hybrid learning environments. Throughout her career, she has developed and redesigned numerous courses using evidence-based instructional design practices, accessibility guidelines, and inclusive teaching strategies.
Her doctoral research explores how community college faculty approach the design of accessible online courses, with particular attention to the practical challenges and institutional realities that shape course design decisions. This work seeks to better understand how accessibility and Universal Design for Learning principles can be implemented in ways that are both sustainable for faculty and supportive of diverse student populations.
Worsley Learning Design brings together experience in teaching, course development, and accessibility to support institutions and instructors in creating learning environments that work for all students.
